Question No. 1:
Define following terms:

(a) Absolute humidity - (expressed as grams of water vapor per cubic meter volume of
air) is a measure of the actual amount of water vapor (moisture) in the air, regardless of
the air's temperature
(b) Relative humidity - Is a ratio, expressed in percent, of the amount of atmospheric
moisture present relative to the amount that would be present if the air were saturated.
(c) Humidity ratio - the ratio between the actual mass of water vapor present in moist air
- to the mass of the dry air. Humidity ratio is normally expressed in kilograms (or pounds)
of water vapor per kilogram (or pound) of dry air.
(d) Saturation ratio - is the percentage ratio of the moisture content in the air to the
moisture content at saturation at the same temperature.

Question No. 2:
Discuss Dalton’s Law on partial pressure.
Dalton’s law of partial pressures is a gas law which states that the total pressure exerted
by a mixture of gases is equal to the sum of the partial pressures exerted by each
individual gas in the mixture. For example, the total pressure exerted by a mixture of two
gases A and B is equal to the sum of the individual partial pressures exerted by gas A
and gas B.
