Mohair Ruffle Sleeve

Materials:
100 g Mohair Moda by Lana Grossa (50 g = 140 m)

Sizes Onesize

Needles 9 mm [US 13] circular needles 60 cm

Workflow
The sweater is knitted in a lace pattern from the top down.
Start with the back, to which the two shoulders are then knitted directly and the neckline is
shaped. The front and back are joined under the armpits. The sleeves are knitted on directly.

Lace/hole pattern
Torso: Yarn over in every purl row and drop stitches in every right/knit row

Sleeves: Yarn overs in every 1st round and drop stitches in every following round

Increases sleeves
The yarn overs from the previous round are knitted off as stitches.
Start / Back
Cast on 36 sts loosely. Knit in lace pattern to approx. 23 cm [9 in] under the armpits. The
back measures approx. 60 cm [23 in] in length and 23 cm in height.

Front
Pick up 12 sts at the top cast-on edge and cast on another 12 sts with the loop cast-on,
these form the neckline. Pick up another 12 sts for the left shoulder (when wearing) at the
cast-on edge so that the front piece also consists of 36 sts.

Knit the front as long as the back in the pattern. Join the front and back in a right-hand row
by casting on 2 stitches under each armpit.
Knit another round and then bind off all stitches.

Sleeves
Pick up stitches for the sleeves at the two armholes created. Knit 15 rounds in the sleeve
lace/hole pattern.

Increases are now made in rounds 16 - 20 to form the ruffles.

Round 16: Knit all stitches including yarn overs from round 15 as knit stitches
(increases).
Round 17: Knit each stitch with a yarn over.
Round 18: Work all stitches including yarn overs from round 17 as knit stitches
(increases).
Round 19: Knit each stitch with a yarn over.
Round 20: Knit all stitches including yarn overs from round 19 as knit stitches
(increases).

All increases have now been knitted.

Knit a further 8 rounds in pattern without increases and then bind off all stitches.

Finishing
Sew all the threads and your #mohairrufflesleeve is ready!
