Hi my name ie Danie Ragni and | ill be your main instructor for this online cours, | am a research scientist that graduated in Thermo-Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Marche (2007). | obtained my PRD. in 2012 (Faculy of Aerospace Engineering, TU Delft) and 1 joined the newly formed TU Delft AWEP Department at TU Delft in the combined sections of Wind Energy and Flight Performance and Propulsion. ‘Together with my colleagues Francesco Avallone and Damiano Casaline 1 am working in the Aeroacoustic Team of TU Delft. ‘This course a first attempt to connect our team to motivated and curious fellows interested in joining our venture, In the last few years | have specialize in Aeroacoustics witha focus on Experimental applications. We had the honor of getting funded ‘the fist grants in noise mitigation studs: NWO-STWs Thames 2016, IPER-MAN 2017, Marie Curie ETN SMART-ANSWER (partner, 2016), and European Project ARTEM (partner, 2016). We now cary on projects across wind energy and propulsion supervising more ‘than 15 motivated scientists and industrial colaborators at the MSc, PhD, and PostDoc level Several colleagues participated in the creation of this course.
