Creating and editing virtual elements

Click on the item and select "Choose server ... " from the pop-up menu.
In the server list, click on "Composite communication ..."

In the "Composite communication list" window, click the add new item button.

In the dialog box that appears, specify the name of the virtual element and click "OK"
You will be taken to the virtual element settings window.
Click the "Add New Item" button at the top.
A server selection window will appear.
Create a new server or select an existing one.

You will return to the virtual element settings window.


Click on the button for changing communication settings.

Set up communication element.


If you plan to use one address, then you can click "OK".
If the communication is composite, then you need to add the right amount of elements.
If the communication is composite, then you need to add the desired number of elements (using
the "Add New" button at the top). Set the communication parameters of the new item
After that, you need to specify the arithmetic operation for these elements.

In the dialog box that appears, select the desired operation.


You can add as many components as you need.
After completing the settings, click the "OK" button in the "List of communication item" window.
After that, you can assign a virtual TAG to the element. To do this, click on the item.

The selected TAG will be entered into the communication for the item

For graphs, the selection of virtual TAGs is carried out similarly.


Saving chart data to a CSV file.
To save you must select the file name in the communication settings for the chart.

If the save file job is completed successfully, then when you call the dialog again, you should see:

When the project communication stops, the graph data will be saved in: file name + current time
+ .csv
The menu "Set update period ..." allows you to set the time (in seconds) with which the data is
recorded in the graph. If time is 0, then data will be entered every communication cycle.
