Exercise 7:

Open the file exercise7.xlsx.


Make the following formatting changes:
Insert some extra rows at the top and type in the title
Format the font, size etc of the title
Change the row heights to space them out more
Change the vertical cell alignment of these rows to centred
Insert more rows between the titles and first row of data and before the totals
Format all the numbers except the Q Ordered column to show £ and 2 decimal places
Change the column widths
Line up the column titles with the numbers on the right
Centre everything in the Q Ordered column
Add borders, gridlines and shading as desired!
Your formatted example will look something like this:

Exercise 8:
Open the file exercise8.xlsx.
Make some formatting changes to the data to make it look like this
Use the text font - Copperplate Gothic Bold.
Save the file with the name exercise8updated and close it down.

Exercise 9:
Open the file exercise9.xlsx.
Make the following formatting changes:

Format the "Cost" figures to show £ sign and no decimal places
Format the " Payment" figures to show the £ sign and 2 decimal places

Exercise 11:

Exercise 12:
Open the file exercise12.xlsx.
Format the data so it looks like the following:

Exercise 13:
Open the file exercise13.xlsx.
Make the following formatting changes:
Press CTRL + A to select the whole table and add borderlines
Select just the titles on row 1 and add shading as shown below:

Change the column width of column F and centre everything in this column
Select all of column E (click on the column letter) and add wordwrap so that you can see all
the longer text entries in this column
Make column D wide enough to fit the longest text (double-click the column width icon on the
line to the right of column D)

Columns D, E and F should now look much better:


Insert 3 new rows at the top of the worksheet and add the title shown below
Change the font, colour and size of the title and add underlining

Change the colour and font size of all the titles on row 4 to enhance them so that your
worksheet now looks something like this:

Save the file with the name exercise13updated and close it down.

Exercise 14:
Open the file exercise14.xlsx.
Format the data so it looks like the following:

Exercise 15:
Open the file exercise15.xlsx.
Make the following formatting changes:
Insert a few extra blank rows at the top and then type in the new title shown below
Format the font, size and colour of the title and add underlining

Change the font and colour of the titles on row 4


Increase the row height of row 4 and make it top aligned

Make everything in the 'Call ID' and the 'Date' columns centre aligned
Select the whole of column D (click on the column letter) and add text wrap so that you can
see all of the longer text entries

Click in the middle of the worksheet and press CTRL + A to select it all, then add
borderlines everywhere (apart from on the title at the top)
Add light yellow shading to the titles on row 4 so that they look similar to this:
