I’m excited to introduce an enriching and artistic project for your child: the Ancient Greek
Scratch Art Project. This endeavor allows students to explore the artistic heritage of Ancient
Greece by creating their own interpretation of a Greek pottery vase designs. Here are the
essential details:

Project Overview:

• Objective: To create a unique piece of art inspired by Ancient Greek pottery vase

• Materials: Students will need materials such as paint, brushes, and any other suitable

Project Requirements:

Your child is expected to:

We encourage parents to actively support their child throughout this project:

• Assist in gathering necessary materials for crafting the vase design.


• Engage in discussions about Ancient Greek pottery to enhance their artistic inspiration

• Encourage creativity and attention to detail in crafting the Ancient Greek vase art
design.

Criteria:

Students’ Ancient Greek pottery vase art will be assessed based on the following criteria:

1. Artistic Interpretation (25 points): The artwork showcases a creative interpretation of


Ancient Greek vase designs.
3. Design Accuracy (25 points): The artwork accurately reflects traditional Greek vase
designs and patterns.

4. Detail (25 points): The artwork demonstrates attention to detail in painting patterns,
symbols, etc.

5. Presentation (25 points): The presentation effectively communicates design choices and
historical inspiration.
