Introduction
Internship is not mandatory as per the University of Calicut regulations 2016 currently in
place. However at LEAD, this is mandatory for all students and for those pursuing
entrepreneurship, this time is used for them to be mentored for the business plan
development.
The period of internship was scheduled for 6 weeks for August 2023 as the academic year
calendar / exams decided by the University is running late by 4 months and there was a
sudden advancement of the second semester exam dates by a month with little notice.
The internship was thus reduced to a 3-4 week period and on account of the exams which
ran over a month, there is a delay in closing the internship report for 2023 and is
expected to be completed by October end .
The internship data included is corrected and authenticated by the placement team.
