Student Teaching Reflection:

Over this spring semester, I had the pleasure of working at Robert Frost. I
have had a wonderful time learning from the many teachers, staff and
administration located at this school. My cooperating teacher’s name is Jessica
Knigge. She provided me with a wealth of information and allowed me to grow
into my teaching style while supplying me with answers and support to any
questions or concerns I may have had. I have felt supported trying different
methods and experimenting with a variety of styles. As I continued to learn and
grow through this semester, I have felt my confidence grow with every day. Along
with student teaching in my classroom, I have had a multitude of substituting jobs
in other classrooms throughout the school. I can confidently say that with this
experience along with my educational assisting position, I am prepared to teach
my own classroom. I have been very thankful to have found wonderful mentors
and friends throughout this process and can’t wait to take on my next adventure.
