1. How does the Theory of Moral Development explain individual differences in moral
reasoning?

Moral development is the process by which people develop the distinction between right
and wrong morality and engage in reasoning between the two moral reasoning. The
Theory of Moral Development explain individual differences in moral reasoning in a
series of six stages and that moral logic is primarily focused on seeking and maintaining
justice.

2. What role do teachers play in the moral development of students?

Teachers can apply Moral development Theory in education by helping students become
ethical, responsible and compassionate individuals who are capable of making thoughtful
and well-informed decisions. The teachers teach students the moral values and behaviors,
and act as a role model for showing students the desirable characters and traits in the
school and also the society.

3. How can Kohlberg’s theory be applied to classroom management and discipline?

To apply Kohlberg's theory in the classroom, teachers can promote moral action
by encouraging students to reflect on their own moral reasoning and the moral reasoning
of others.
