 Getting Started
(1) The unit is ready for use when the power cable is connected to the socket ( A
as shown ) and the switch ( B as shown ) is turned on
(2) The unit should be placed in a ventilated area for the first day of using.
Some initial odour caused by the electric components may be released.
After one or two days, no odour of this type will be evident
(3) This air sterilizer unit is designed to be wall or ceiling mounted but can also
be placed on flat stable surface. For use on a flat surface, four rubber
bumpers can be fixed to the nut plates. Mounting brackets provided replace
the rubber feet for wall or ceiling mounting, these can be adjusted along the
base plate as required.
(4) The ideal locations for wall mount is approximately 2 meter from ground
level
(5) Do not install the unit in a position that inlet or outlet will be
blocked/impeded. This will affect efficiency.
(6) Always keep the unit operating 24hrs a day, 7 days a week
(7) For the best long term results, always keep the unit in the same area
(8) Keep away from water, especially if unit is installed in a higher moisture
environment
Cleaning
(1) Disconnect plug/power cord before commencing any cleaning
(2) There is little cleaning required. Vacuum cleaner may be needed to clean the
dust or debris accumulated on inlet and outlet openings.
(3) Do not use wet cloth to clean inlet and outlet openings of the unit.
(4) Please be careful when cleaning is in progress.
(5) Do not touch the quartz part of the UV lamp tube and the photo-catalytic
plates ( F as shown ) by any means. These plates have the feature of self
cleaning.
(6) Use a dry cloth to clean any dirt of the lamp surface ( G as shown )
Lamp Replacement
After approximately one year or over 8,000 hrs of continuous burning, the
UV-C lamp will lose 20 to 30% of its UV power and need to be replaced for
intended performance. Please disconnect the power before opening the cover
(D as shown) for lamp replacement. Avoid touching photo-catalytic base
plates.

Please read these instructions carefully before operating this unit. This will
enable you to obtain optimum performance and a longer service life from your
air sterilizer unit.
Important Safety Instructions
Electrical Hazard
(1) Do not use the unit outdoor where exposed to rain or water.
(2) Only connect the unit to a single phase socket with a main voltage as
specified on the rating plate
(3) Do not handle plug or the unit with wet hands
(4) Do not operate the unit near sources of water-for example, bathtub, wash
bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub or swimming pool.
If the unit comes in contact with liquid, remove its plug from the outlet
immediately.
Warnings
(1 ) Do not allow foreign objects to enter the air outlet or inlet openings of the
unit, this may cause damage to unit or electric shock
(2) To reduce the risk of electric shock this unit is provide with a grounding
type plug and cable. Do not operate on a non-grounded outlet or connect to
a spur without a grounding connection
(3) Keep the unit and its cord away from heated surfaces and never operate the
unit if it has a damaged cord
(4) Do not block air outlet and/or inlet openings of the unit
(5) Do not use the unit where combustible gases or vapours are present
(6) Keep away from water splashes if the unit is installed in washroom / toilet /
kitchen
(7) Keep the unit out of reach of children
(8) Never look directly into the burning UV lamp tube. Doing so can cause
eyes and skin dryness and irritation
(9) Reflected blue light showing through the outlet, inlet or edge of unit
openings and front window is safe to look at
(10) Never operate unit if there is an unfamiliar sound or vibration
(11) Disconnect the plug/power cord if the unit will not be used for a long
period of time

Vertical wall mounting:
