Harassment

Harassment can be defined as a person performing

undesirable actions that would violate the privacy and
entity of those around him. These actions may be of a
sexual, physical, psychological, or verbal nature,
which may begin with simple harassment and
insinuations to reach a higher level of harassment.

Types of harassment?

 Comments, requests and expression of

strange desires.
 Winking, whistling, or waving certain hand
gestures - following closely while walking.

Attacking a woman or blocking her path.

Constant request for a person's name,
numbers and other information.

Taking photos without consent.
Reasons for harassment.
 Sexual repression.
 Poor upbringing and lack of morals.
Reckless imitation.
 Lack of legal protection or accountability.
Tolerating the harasser.
 The victim's clothing or location is not the
reason.

We must be well aware of the causes of

harassment so that we can confront it. We
must also be convinced that we have the
strength to repel the harasser and prevent
him from continuing with his actions.
Everything the harasser does is a product of
his culture, and there is no reason for what
we wear or where we are. It is important that
we do not remain silent about what we were
exposed to or remain secretive for fear of
scandal or the harasser. Therefore, it is
necessary to disclose what we were
exposed to to people we trust and to official
bodies capable of deterring it. Therefore, we
present to you some steps that will help you
know how we can behave when we are
exposed to harassment.
