There are many sources which create noise pollution.
Natural sources are thunder, lighting, storms, etc. Man
-made sources are heavy traffic, increasing numbers of vehicles, home appliances, music systems, loud speakers, T.V, aircraft and construction works. Continuous exposure to high degree of noise is harmful for human beings, animals and plants too. People suffer from hearing loss, poor concentration, stress, anxiety and sleep disorder which leads to heart diseases and mental problems, illness. Aggressive behaviour is seen on roads. Animals also become aggressive and plants show stunted growth. It is urgent to control noise pollution . Vehicles should have better quality silencers. Traffic should be regulated. Loud horns, loud speakers and crackers should be banned beyond time limit. Strict laws and punishment should be enforced . Everyone should play a positive role and in reduction noise pollution actively. Only then life on earth would be peaceful and healthy. We must remember- “Safe environment, safe life ” By- XYZ.
