finding an online reading program that will keep students accountable and allow teachers to better assess student reading? Context My school is a small private school that has been “old school” with technology for quite a few years. In just the past year or two, we have been integrating more online programs into our classrooms as we have been incorporating tablets and chromebooks into our daily routines. One area we are lacking in is online reading programs that accurately assess student reading levels. Additionally, when we assign reading homework, we don’t have any way to ensure students are actually reading at home. The goal of this project is to find a program that will allow teachers to assign reading homework and give students the opportunity to record themselves at home. Summary of Project Goals
