After you participated or assisted in the LMS, describe what you observed and experienced by
answering the items below.
1. Describe the structure of the LMS utilized by the Teacher. How was it organized? What
main components did you find?
My resource teacher utilizes apps like Google classroom, google meet and messenger as
LMS. These LMS has simple structure that are for inclusion of weekly guide, learning
objectives, learning content, video presentation (for supplemental materials) supports the
inclusion of video clips from You-Tube. Online discussion link, feedback/suggestion link
through comments on the documents, References, and Assessment/Evaluation. It was
organized in a way that students join separately (with a code) sent by the teacher and
work separately within it, moving at their own pace and viewing or uploading
assignments when they're ready. My resource teacher designs quantitative and qualitative
quizzes and exams for her students. For example, multiple choice tests to measure how
much they know, and interactive simulations to determine how well they know it, as well
as how well they're able to apply the information in real-world settings. The main
components of Google Classroom: The Stream (which is what comes up whenever you
log into your classroom and contains a high-level overview of what’s coming up),
Classwork (where you’ll find assignments, quizzes, and discussion questions), and
People (which is a list of all students currently enrolled in the class). Google Classroom
supplements the classroom rather than re-creates it, and the focus is on extending certain
(but not all) components of the classroom to the online, digital space. However, while
Google Classroom lacks the true collectivity of a virtual classroom experience, it still
features aspects of shared learning — and knowing that can help you make the most of
using it.

2. How was the content taught or delivered? How were the learning activities arranged?
What strategies did the teacher or you use to help students attain the objectives/outcomes?
Participating and assisting in an online class is somewhat exciting but challenging
because of different problems we're encountering. The content was taught or delivered
step-by-step. My Resource teacher and I created catchy presentation for students. We also
add activities and questions for them to participate and contribute. Delivering of lesson
carefully that makes each of the students learn. The delivery of the content is planned
accordingly to the intended learning outcomes and by the use of LMS, as assistance of
delivery we tried our best to use it properly and productively.

1. What do you think are the best features of the LMS that the teacher used? How did these
features help students learn the content?
The best feature of an LMS is, first is the meeting room why? Because meeting room is
where the virtual interaction takes place and this room holds a valuable role, it is there to
amplify the collaboration of students who participates in the discussion. Second feature is
the module container its function is to have an upload lesson or the module for the
student to answer and also for them to read the topics that are uploaded by the teacher.
Lastly, the very important feature is the announcement because it allows the teacher to
communicate with the students regarding some queries or reminders about the topics or
the modules that are distributed to students.
These features help student learn in a new normal distance learning. It tends to reach out
the gap between the student and the teacher. Provide students access to education, and
some others as an online system which staff use to support course delivery and provide
online learning and blended learning opportunities for students and employees. As a
future educator, using a Learning Management System makes things easier for you, as it
helps plan the training activities calendar which you can share with your learners, trainer,
colleges and co-administrators. By doing this you can maintain and improve your training
process and teaching style. An LMS also helps in getting student reports, which is a time-
consuming process when done manually. Moreover, it amplifies and simplifies the work
of a teacher towards the students and likewise to students.
2. How did the teacher/or you use the LMS to implement the strategies/activities planned?
With the use of learning management systems such as MS teams and messenger, it
became possible for my resource teacher to carry out the strategies and activities planned
for her class. She makes use of Google meet to apply those teaching strategies like the
one she's been using, which is the lecture teaching strategy and the problem-based
teaching strategy. My Resource Teacher, on the other hand, uses messenger to send
learning activities, tasks, updates, and feedback to students. As I can see, these platforms
under the learning management systems are effective in implementing those strategies
and activities. It is only necessary for the teacher to be knowledgeable enough to operate
such platforms and to master its features for a better experience.
3. How did this connect with what you know about LMS and TPACK?
This connect with what I know about LMS and TPACK in a way that it both emphasizes
the use of technology and through the LMS which is under the technological knowledge
of the TPACK framework pedagogical and content knowledge will easily be
implemented through the learning process. And as we progress in the new normal using
the learning management system, we can integrate a deeper comprehension of the
TPACK framework.
4. What problems or challenges did the teacher/you or students encounter in working with
the LMS? How did it/they affect the teacher/learners? What part/s of the LMS do you
think can still be improved? How can this/these be improved?
Teachers and students do not consider LMSs’ more effective tools in teaching and
learning in a reason that challenges have been encountered in working with it.
Mismanagement of task and activities was one of the problems or challenges those
students and teacher encountered in using LMSs because this affects the learners when
they had to accomplish a certain number of tasks and activities before being competent
with it. Learners says that this LMS was confusing and slow, and also the use of LMS
interfaces was rigid and dull. So, this would affect their engagement in working with it.
Moreover, the main challenges are lack of or inadequate training and support of teachers
in using these LMS and software issues that disrupt classroom teaching, blocked websites.
These main challenges really affect teachers and students in delivering, understanding the

2. Enumerate the knowledge, skills and attitudes you already have to organize your virtual
learning environment and use an LMs:
In those particular area cited below, as a student teacher, our knowledge, skills and attitudes that
we’ve already acquired are:
Content:
1. We can identify important concepts of the discipline and their relationships to one
another.
2. We can provide clear explanations of the content that is being taught.
3. We can answer students' questions and provides feedback that furthers their learning.
4. We are hardworking enough to be motivated in mastering our lessons to teach.
5. Possessing a solid understanding of a certain lesson which is based on our own
understanding
Pedagogical:
1. We understand the active nature of student learning and attains information about levels
of development for groups of students.
2. We have the skill in assessment construction in order to measure student’s attained
knowledge.
3. Have the ability to recognize the needed instruction to match the given lesson.
4. We can prepare a motivation to capture the student’s attention and set the mood for
learning.
5. The skill to organize instructional student groups thoughtfully to maximize learning and
build students' strengths.
Technological:
1. We’re able to use the proper application to execute effectively the lesson: (Ex: Google
meet for videoconferencing and explanation of the lesson, Thatquiz for assessment, and
Google classroom for the collection of different submitted activities)
2. We can integrate different types of multimedia to make the lesson more interesting
3. We are patient enough to consider our student’s situation when it comes to their internet
connection and switch to a more convenient type of technology that we will incorporate
in teaching the lesson.
For me, we should find the strategies that is most effective in using LMS. Like, we make
the content creative, actionable and meaningful because students don't want boring
content. Gamify the experience of LMS for us to motivate the students to gain more skills
and improve the learning management system. Gather feedback and ask for
recommendations regularly to collect information about how it can be improved even
further and improving the actual content as well.
