J,JO,L,M,S Jack:

Jack is the main character. A man of faith only to the bullet. He is tough and strong and have a voice that has been scared by too much firewater.

Background:
In his youth his father was murdered in front of Jack and ever since then he has been searching for his fathers killer to get revenge. Jack is dedicated and travels from town to town looking for clues of where he can find his fathers killer. He has been doing so for almost 10 years now.

Narrative moments:
Jack is introduced in the opening cut scene of the game. Moment #1(J and L) Riding half dead towards the town Falls off horse at the towns entrance Lydia sees him and picks him up Takes him to safety and treats him Lydia and jack has a moment where much of the towns story is explained to Jack.

Moment #2(J,L and M) Jack gets too meet the mayor and gets hinted that he could be his fathers killer by looking at body signs. Jack reaches for his gun but its missing

Lydia calms down the situation and explains that Jack is only tired.

Moment #3(J, JO and L) Jack gets back to Lydia and accepts the mission Jack enters the mines where Lydias father probably is kept and meets the sheriff Jack rescues Lydias father and is introduced to more of the towns secrets. Jack returns to Lydia with her father and takes on a new mission.

Moment #4(J) Jack captures the vice sheriff and squeezes out information from him.

Moment #5(J and M) Jack gets the food carts to the city, but the mayor is fast to take action and starts to ration out the food and gets all the cred.

Character Arc:

Lydia:

Lydia is a beautiful generous young woman and a smith apprentice. Lydia has a big heart sees the good and bad in every living being. Did I mention she is smoking hot aswell.

Background:
Lydia and her father moved to Dry River when Lydias mother passed away. Lydias father reckoned he could make them a good living here and started up a Weaponsmiths shop. After a couple of years strange things started to happen. People went missing, rumor said that the Natives where to blame. Then the river started to dry out and no one could afford to move away. Lydia and her father could cope with the situation but when Lydias father went missing.. She started to lose hope. And along came..

Narrative moments:
Moment #1(J and L) Lydia sees Jack as he collapses outside the town saloon from sunstroke and dehydration She decides to take him in and treat him, because she sees something good in this man Lydia explains the towns situation to Jack and asks for help Lydia is turned down

Moment #2(J,L and M) Jack gets too meet the mayor and gets hinted that he could be his fathers killer by looking at body signs. Jack reaches for his gun but its missing Lydia calms down the situation and explains that Jack is only tired. Lydia meets up with Jack and gets her will through

Moment #3(J,JO and L) Jack has returned to Lydia and reunites with her father

Moment #4

Character Arc:

Joel (Lydias father):

Old but strong. A Weapon smith. Misses his dead with but has a daughter that he loves more then everything else in the world.

Background:
Same as Lydia. excl. That he got kidnapped by the mayor to work in the mines.

Narrative moments:

Moment #3(J, JO and L) Meets Jack and gets rescued, Tells jack about the Native place and that it is worth checking out. Lydias father gets rescued by jack Brought back home to his daughter in a week condition. Gets aid from Lydia and tells Jack and her about what has happened.

Moment # Joel and Lydia flees to the nearest town waiting for Jack to arrive.

Character Arc:

The Mayor:

The mayor is a ruthless, rich, fearless, cold-hearted and a killer as well but in the peoples eyes he is loyal and credulous and the one that helps them to survive. He rules the town in the most traitorous and corrupt way possible. Probably the person who killed Jacks father.

Background:
The mayor is a rich cattle owner that took over the city after the former mayor went missing. With his influence and possessions he took an iron grip around the town by controlling the food and water. He increased his reverends by rationing out his own supplies. The mayor has 2 fingers missing on his left hand that he got from young Jack, when he killed his father. He also has grown an interest in Lydia. That dirty old man.

Narrative moments:
Moment #2(J, M and L) The Mayor Meets jack in Lydias shop and end up in a small argue. Jack dont seem to like each him. Lydia explains that jack is out of touch.

Moment #5

Sees the food carts coming back to town and starts to improvise and handles out food to the people too keep his status.
