SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, REYNELYN L. VEGAFRIA, married, of legal age, Filipino

citizen, and resident of Catmon, Sibalom, Antique, do hereby
appoint name and constitute, ATTY. EDUARDO S. FORTALEZA,
married, of legal age, Filipino citizen, and resident of Atabay, San
Jose de Buenavista, Antique, to be my true and lawful Attorney-in-
Fact, to act in, manage and conduct all my affairs, and for the
purpose in my name and on my behalf to do and execute all or
any of the following acts, deeds and things, to wit:

1. To appear on my behalf, before the Antique Provincial

Prosecutor’s Office, during the investigation to determine
whether collusion exists between the Petitioner and
Respondent, in the Declaration of Nullity Case which I
will be filing against Alvan N. Alba, before the Regional
Trial Court of Antique, San Jose de Buenavista, Antique;

2. To appear during the Pre-Trial;

3. To enter into an amicable settlement, or of a submission

to alternative modes of dispute resolution, or mediation;

4. To simplify issues;

5. To enter into stipulations or admission of facts and of

documents to avoid unnecessary proof;

6. To limit the number of witnesses;

7. To preliminarily refer issues to a commissioner;

8. To suspend the proceedings, if necessary;

9. To resort to other matters as may aid in the prompt

disposition of the action;

10. To appear during the other stages of the proceedings

until terminated;

11. To receive and sign notices, orders, which the Honorable

Court may issue in the said case;

12. To file the Amended Petition, supplemental pleadings,

and other written submissions if necessary, and sign the
necessary Verification and Certification Against Forum
Shopping relative thereto;

13. To appeal the case to the Court of Appeals, and the

Supreme Court, and to execute the Verification and
Certification Against Forum Shopping, therefor, in case of
an adverse ruling; and
 14. In general, to do all acts, deeds, matters, and things
whatsoever in or about my property, and or to concur
with persons jointly interested with myself therein, doing
all acts, deeds, matters and things herein, either
particularly or generally described, as fully and effectually
to all intents and purposes as I could do in my own
proper person as if personally present.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto my said Attorney-in-Fact

full power and authority whatever requisite or necessary or proper to be
done in or about the premises, as fully to all intents and purposes as I
might or could lawfully do if personally present, and hereby ratifying and
confirming all that my said Attorney-in-Fact shall do or cause to be done
under and by virtue of these presents.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

personally appeared Reynelyn L. Vegafria, who has satisfactorily proven
to me her identity through her Philippine Passport No. TT0605216,
issued by the DFA Regional Consular Office VI, Iloilo City, on October 6,
2006, with extended date of expiration until June 8, 2013, and Atty.
Eduardo S. Fortaleza who is personally known to me, that they are the
same persons who personally signed the foregoing Special Power of
Attorney, and they acknowledged that they executed the same.

This document consisting of three (3) pages, including the page on

which this Acknowledgment is written has been signed by the parties
and their instrumental witnesses on all pages, and it pertains to the
Special Power of Attorney executed by the Grantor in favor of Atty.
Eduardo S. Fortaleza as her Attorney-in-Fact, with powers conferred as
enumerated hereinbefore.
