Costumer: I would like a ticket to Boston.

Clerk: We have a VIP bus leaving at 9:00 pm and one at 11:00 pm and we
have a first class bus at 12:00 pm, 4:30 pm and at 8:00 pm.

Costumer: When does the 12:00 bus arrive in Boston?

Clerk: It arrives at 3:00 pm

Costumer: And the 9:00 pm VIP bus?

Clerk: That one arrives at 11:45 pm.

Costumer: OK, I will take the 12:00 pm bus. How much is that?

Clerk: The first class bus is 100 dollars.

Costumer: Here you are.

Clerk: Ok, here is your change and ticket. The bus will leave from
platform 3.

The students playing the clerk get the information sheet clerk part and the 6 costumers get each one
of the costumer cards.

For the role play students have to change the underlined words in the conversation to match their
own situation.

The other students in the class have to listen to the conversation and write the information in the
table at the bottom of the page.
