Recommended activations

Europe Celebrate Service week (12 – 18 June) is a great opportunity to show thanks and appreciation to your hardworking hotel
teams. Below are some guidelines as well as some ideas to get you started.
Guidelines

• Participation in Europe Celebrate Service Week is optional. You could do something one day during the week or every day if
you wish
• Ensure activities are inclusive as possible – consider people’s rotas, physical abilities as well as any cultural sensitives (e.g.
meat and alcohol)
• We encourage you to do activity in teams together
• Ensure to agree your budgets before planning activities
• Be mindful of sustainability if you decide to have any materials printed (e.g. posters, t-shirts and other collateral)

Over the coming months, on Merlin and across our corporate social channels, we’ll be recognising the wonderful efforts of your hotel
teams with a special stories campaign.
We’ll be choosing our top three inspiring stories for each region. The winners will be selected by our expert panel of judges ,
including the Regional Head of HR, Operations, and Communications.
