A messy party

My name’s Vanessa, and I had a wild birthday party. It was a lot of fun, but it got messy. I think every
one of my friends made a mess. I didn’t mind, though, because the party was so much fun!

Poor William was so excited to eat his cake. But he dropped it on the floor. While he was doing that,
Kate spilled her orange juice on the floor. They were both disappointed, but it just made me laugh.

Then Dexter knocked over my mom’s favorite statue. He felt really bad about it, but it made me laugh,
too.

While this was happening, my dog ran through the room. He had rolled in the mud outside, so he was
very dirty. He got dirt and mud all over everything. Trina saw him running at her and screamed so
loudly. It made me laugh even more.

Wayne tripped on the tablecloth and fell down. I felt so bad for him, but I was laughing. I said, “Hey,
while you’re down there, help Lana find her wallet. She lost it.” Everybody else laughed when I said
