CBSE Result 2024: T he Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to
release the CBSE result 2024 for Class 10, 12 in May 2024 on the official website-
cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. T he CBSE result 2024 f or Class 12 is released together f or all
streams- Science, Commerce and Arts. Students can check their result using admit card
number, roll number and school number as shared in the admit card.

T he CBSE Board Result 2024 will include the student's name, roll number, date-of -birth,
marks obtained in all subjects, grades, etc. Students can also check the CBSE Result 2024
Class 10, 12 via SMS, DigiLocker and UMANG App. Students must note that the CBSE Results
2024 released online is provisional. T hey are required to collect the original mark sheet f rom
school.

A student must secure an overall 33% (both internal assessment and Board examination
taken together) in all the subjects to pass in CBSE Result 2024. CBSE 10th, 12th exams 2024
are being conducted between February 15 and April 2, 2024.

Last year, the Board released the CBSE 10th, 12th result 2023 on May 12. T he Board
released the CBSE 10th, 12th compartment result 2023 on August 4 and August 1, 2023
respectively. T he board exams were held of f line between February 15 and April 5, 2023.

Once released, the Result of 10th, 12th Class 2024 CBSE can also be checked through the
Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). T he call would be charged at 30 paisa/minute f or a
single roll number. Students need to dial the number, 24300699, along with the code of their
area preceding the given number.

T here is an option to get the CBSE board result by sending an SMS f rom the registered
number. T he f ormat which is to be f ollowed f or the SMS: “cbse12 (roll number) (date of birth)
(school number) (Centre number) on the number 7738299899. T he f ormat of the date of birth
should be DDMMYYYY. Students will then receive an SMS with a subject-wise list of their
marks. T hey must secure the CBSE Class 10/12 Result 2024 f or immediate ref erence.

Students can also download their CBSE result 2024 in the f orm of digital marksheets via
DigiLocker. T heir DigiLocker account details are sent via SMS on the registered mobile number
with CBSE.

T o get the marksheets f rom DigiLocker, students can visit the website —
cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse f or initiation of their account conf irmation
process. Students must note that they will need a PIN to download their marksheet f rom the
app. How do you get it? T o strengthen the security and privacy of the students' data, the PIN
has been introduced.

T o conf irm the DigiLocker account, students will f irst have to select their class f irst
either class 10 or 12 and then enter their school code, and roll number. Further, they access
the six-digit security PIN f rom their schools. T he PIN will be provided by their school, if not
received, students will have to contact their school. T he PIN will be a numeric value. Example:
If pin number given by school is ‘012345’, students will have to enter only 012345.

CBSE 10t h, 12t h Result 2024: Passing Crit eria

Students would be considered to have cleared the CBSE board exams if they f ulf ill the criteria
mentioned below:

Should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ (that is, at least 33% marks) in all the f ive subjects
of external exams in the main (or compartmental exams)

For practical work-related subjects, candidates should secure 33% marks in theory and
33% marks in practical. Apart f rom this, aspirants should have secured at least 33% marks
in aggregate

T he Board would give students a pass certif icate if they get a grade above 'E' in all subjects
of internal assessment (unless he/she is exempted).

T he students who are not satisf ied with the marks they obtained in the CBSE result 2024
Class 10, 12 can apply f or verif ication of marks/answer sheet tentatively in June 2024. T he
students will be required to f ill out the application f orm f or verif ication of the marks online on
the of f icial website. T he board will re-check the answer sheets f or totalling errors, missing
out marks, or unchecked/ unmarked questions. Af ter re-checking, the board will share the
CBSE result 2024 with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of the re-
