This is a pretty good light saber set. They can be used individually or put together like Darth
Maul's light saber. The color selection is fantastic. This set is super cool and great for kids.
The one downside is that it does use conventional batteries instead of just charging with a
usb cable. I prefer charging instead of having to buy batteries.

I bought this first Star Wars costume, and it does not let you choose the color it changes
whenever the sword bumps. The sound effects are neat My daughter-in-law fell in love with
them and played with them for several hours.

My kids have a $50+ light saber from the star wars land in disney world, but they enjoy this
version much more. They love how these retract and they get to pick the color they want.
These can be used as one double saber or two separate sabers. My kids are 6-10 years old,
they obviously don't adhere to the "don't whack each other or objects with this thing" rule.
In light of this, the children and sabers are still holding up very well. They do make a lot of
noise but thankfully there is an option to switch the sound off, should you need such a
break. The only thing I've noticed is it's very difficult, dare I say- impossible, to click the
saber part onto the handle. They have been playing with them not properly secured, so
every once in a while one of the kids ends up just fighting with a flashlight until they time
out to reattach the pieces together. My super strong hubby even tried to click it together
with no luck. Honestly though, it has not deterred my children from playing with them and
enjoying every moment.
