I love these things! The feature I like the best about these is that one end is smaller than the other. I
have tried S hooks in the past that we're the same size on both sides and they would fall onto the
floor everytime I took something off the hook. This frustrated me to no end so when I saw these I
thought I would give them a try. These work so well I am using them everywhere. I use metal wire
racks for my furniture because I refuse to buy particle board. These work great for hanging my
coffee mugs on my rack on both sides of my microwave. Plus I have a rolling rack as my bedside
table and hang my backscratcher, lint roller and hand held mirror off the side of my cart and when I
reach for these things from a lying in bed position the hooks now stay put!!!! I am very happy I
found these.

OK, I'll admit it. I have a small grocery store or very large pantry in my basement. I take after my
mother that way, only I don't have as much room as she did. I have this wire rack of shelves that
hangs on the back of a door. It has heavy stuff on it, but I use these wonderful hooks to hang plastic
grocery bags from the corners of each level of shelving. The plastic grocery bags hold lighter weight
things like chips. Unlike regular S hooks that have equal size hooks at each end, these have a tight
enough hook portion so that the hooks do not come off the wire shelf when I lift stuff out of the
grocery bags and a wide hook for hanging items. They are a great S hook for what I use them for. I
am so glad I checked Amazon for the product and found these.

Perfect for hanging mugs and small items

I used these hooks on a baker's cart to hang mugs for the coffee maker. They worked perfectly. Not
too big, not too small.
I also tried to use one to hang my hammock on its frame when I temporarily lost the hook that goes
with it, but this hook was not strong enough to hold a child in the hammock. It is not advertised to
hold that much weight and that's fine, but anyone thinking to hang too much weight from these
hooks should know. For hanging small items, they are great!

Uneven “S” - not very practical.

After getting these home, I found out that these “s” hooks are not as useful (for me) as I need them
to be. Other “s” hooks are the same size on both ends. That is way more practical because with
these, one end is either too small for the bar they’re hanging from, or too small for the hole in the
utensil. Thicker handled utensils won’t allow the small end of the hook to go through, so if you’ve
used the larger end to hang on your bar/rack, you’re out of luck. Otherwise they’re nice and shiny,
and seem sturdy. They aren’t completely unusable, but I’ll keep looking for “even” sized “s” hooks. I
hope this helps you decide what’s right for your purposes!
