DearFriends, One of the early hallmarks of Christianity and as demonstrated by Jesus is the removal of discrimination between races, gender, and political views. Aquick study of Christianity reveals that it is not something we have always donethatwell.Therehavebeenmanymisguidedcrusades inthenameofChrist! However, Jesus was always concerned for the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of people.Hetouchedandhealedtheleperwhoaccordingtothelawofthedaywasspiritually uncleanandintheeyesofmanybeyondredemption.Whentheladyguiltyofadulterywasabout tobestoned,Jesusintervened."Ifanyoneofyouiswithoutsin, lethimbethefirsttothrowa stoneather."John8:7(NIV). Manyintodayssocietywouldsaytheydontdiscriminateagainstothers, ortheyarenotracists but sometimes our actions (or non action) indicate otherwise.
