sharing. Describe the features and functions of the community, site or portal.
Specific education site or ICT portal Description

Education.com It is designed for teachers that are a source of teaching

methods and topics. All content is researched-based.
The student portal is for students to fulfil the tasks of
each of the lessons by completing games and quizzes.
eNotes It is a collaborative portal where teachers in different
fields of education answer questions and exchange
materials or teaching methods.
Scholastic.com Scholastic is divided by teacher portals, parent portals,
student portals, and even portals for Parent Teacher
Associations (PTA). Each portal will have anything
needed to meet the needs of any lesson, at any grade
level.
LINCS The contents of the site provide adult educators with
an online network of portals to share resources, take
lessons, and exchange ideas. It also provides classes
for adult learners.
Shmoop Shmoop offers methods and resources for teaching
English (and British) literature, English 101 and
English composition, to students who have a hard time
understanding assigned readings.
Specific PLC/PLN Description

Principals/ Schools Communities The school community is motivated to actively engage

NGOs, HEIs, private sector, public sector, other
organizations
as a way to strengthen teacher professionalism and
improve learning outcomes. They take up leadership
roles, such as facilitation, setting the agenda, and
defining outcomes.
Integrates PLCs in their offer of professional
development. To develop synergies between PLCs and
provincial, and district subject committees.

2. Select an ICT tool and use it to collaborate and share resources with your teacher and fellow students. Narrate
how you go into the collaboration process and sharing of resources in your blog or vlog.
