▪ Check if the conditions match the scheme drawing.

DANGER

▪ Never move the gas compartment with human interface. Otherwise, it may fall due to loose rope (or hook),
resulting in death or injury.
▪ For gas recovery, first check the drawing and perform the work.

NOTICE
Refer to the main drawing before assembling each module.

1.15 Painting

All surfaces of the Hyundai GIS enclosure must be thoroughly cleaned before painting and be coated with a primer
coating followed by an additional layer of a high quality paint.

The gas pipings for SF6 are generally coloured in yellow.

You can perform the painting work as follows:

1 Cover the areas that must not be painted, such as name plates, switch state indicators, windows, etc., with a
tape.

2 Restore the damaged paintings.

3 Paint the spacer and gas pipings in yellow.

4 Paint the line markers in specified colours for each device code (buses, CB, DS, ES, CT, VT, etc.).

5 Distinguish the phases with paints or stickers.

You can restore a damaged painting as follows:

1 Completely remove rust and foreign materials with a sand paper.

2 Coat the area twice with an anti-corrosive paint.
