I arri directed to 'invite attention to the references cited and to inform you that
tuition fee is waived for the First Graduate students admitted in Engineering Courses
under Government Quota as per the orders issued in G.0.(Ms) No.85, Higher
Education (J2) Department dated 16.4.2010. The Director of Technical Education
and Director of Medical Education have been instructed in the Government letter
second cited that the First Graduate students who were admitted through Single
Window Counselling might know' about the tuition fee fixed by the Committee on
fixation of fee in respect of Self Financing Professional Colleges for them. By that
time, the tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. students admitted under Government
Quota is Rs.20,000/-. The Committee on fixation of fee in respect of Self Financing
Professional Colleges in its proceedings dated 26.7.2017 fixed the tuition fee for the
students admitted under Government Quota as detailed below:

In the letters fourth cited, you have requested Orders for revising Tuition fee and
ratification orders for reimbursing tuition fee during the period from 2017-18 to 2018-
19 as the per the revised proceedings, to avoid, audit objection in future.
2. In this connection, I am directed to clarify that since First Graduate Tuition
Fee Concession Scheme is implemented during 2010, the instruction is given
specifically in the Government letter second cited. Tuition fee has been revised by
the Committee during the year 2017. The fee fixed by the Committee will be revised
every three years. Therefore, the Tuition_fee_fixed by the Committee then and there,
may be waived as per the Scheme. No separate Government order is required for
implementing the Scheme.
