Parameter Relationship: None
Service Interrupted After Modification: No (And no
impact on the UE in idle mode)
Impact on Radio Network Performance: You are
advised to set the parameter to a value that does not
deviate from the value of the PA for even power
distribution parameter by more than 3 dB. A larger
value leads to a larger coverage of the positioning
reference signal, but less available power for the
PDSCH. A smaller value leads to opposite effects.
Applicable Mode: L
AntOutputPwr Antenna Meaning: Indicates the transmit power for the entire
Output channel bandwidth at each antenna connector. If the
Power AntRsPwrSwitch option of the RepeaterSwitch
parameter is selected, this parameter value is used to
calculate the reference signal (RS) power to be
delivered in system information block type 2 (SIB2).
GUI Value Range: 20~40
Unit: W
Actual Value Range: 20~40
MML Default Value: None
Recommended Value: 20
Parameter Relationship: None
Service Interrupted After Modification: No (And no
impact on the UE in idle mode)
Impact on Radio Network Performance: A larger value
of this parameter leads to a larger coverage area of the
cell but may result in coverage overshoot and cause
interference to adjacent cells. A smaller value of this
parameter leads to a smaller coverage area of the cell
but may result in coverage holes.
Applicable Mode: L
PmchPwrOffset PMCH Meaning: Indicates the offset of PMCH power to the
Power maximum PDSCH power. The maximum PDSCH
Offset power is calculated by using the following formula:
Max(P_PDSCH_A, P_PDSCH_B). For details about
formulas to calculate P_PDSCH_A and P_PDSCH_B,
see section "Basics of PDSCH Power Calculation" in
Power Control Feature Parameter Description
.
GUI Value Range: 0~60,255
Unit: 0.1dB
Actual Value Range: 0~6,255
MML Default Value: None
Recommended Value: None
Parameter Relationship: None
Service Interrupted After Modification: N/A
Impact on Radio Network Performance: A smaller
value of this parameter results in a smaller PMCH
power and a smaller coverage of PMCH. A larger value
of this parameter results in the opposite effects.
Applicable Mode: L
HoRarPwrEnhancedSwitch Handover Meaning: Indicates whether the eNodeB increases the
RAR transmit power of the Random Access Response (RAR)
Power message when a UE is being handed over to the target
Enhanced cell and repeatedly sends dedicated preambles. If this
Switch parameter is set to OFF(OFF), the eNodeB does not
increase the transmit power of the RAR message sent to
the UE that is being handed over to the target cell. If
this parameter is set to ON(ON) and a UE that is being
handed over to the target cell repeatedly sends
dedicated preambles, the eNodeB increases the transmit
power of the RAR message by another 3 dB each time
on the basis of the RaRspPwr parameter value. The
transmit power of the RAR message can be increased
by a maximum of 6 dB.
GUI Value Range: OFF(OFF), ON(ON)
Unit: None
Actual Value Range: OFF, ON
MML Default Value: None
Recommended Value: OFF(OFF)
Parameter Relationship: None
Service Interrupted After Modification: N/A
Impact on Radio Network Performance: When
downlink coverage is weak or interference is strong,
setting this parameter to ON increases the dedicated-
preamble-based access success rate in the cell,
increases the handover success rate, and decreases the
handover delay. However, if the traffic volume is large
or the number of handovers is large, setting this
parameter to ON increases downlink interference on
neighboring cells and decreases power for transmitting
downlink services in the local cell, which in turn
decreases network downlink throughput.
Applicable Mode: L

Modify PA Configuration for PDSCH Power

Control (MOD CELLDLPCPDSCHPA)
Function
Use this command to modify the PA parameters related to power control for the PDSCH.

Note
This is a high-risk MML command. Pay attention to the following precautions before running
this command:

If a cell is an air cell, online modifications on the PaPcOff parameter will result in automatic
reset of the cell.
Parameters
ID Name Description
LocalCellId Local cell Meaning: Indicates the local ID of the cell. It uniquely
ID identifies a cell within a BS.

GUI Value Range: 0~255

Unit: None

Actual Value Range: 0~255

MML Default Value: None

Recommended Value: None

Parameter Relationship: None

Service Interrupted After Modification: N/A

Impact on Radio Network Performance: None

Applicable Mode: L
PdschPaAdjSwitch PA Meaning: Indicates the switch for adjusting the PA through
adjusting power control on the PDSCH. If this parameter is set to ON,
switch the PA is adjusted dynamically when the channel quality is
extremely good or bad.

DisuseStatement: This switch will be removed in the later

versions. In this version, the setting of this switch is still
synchronized between the U2000 and the eNodeB, but it is
no longer used internally. Therefore, avoid using this
parameter.

GUI Value Range: OFF(Off), ON(On)

Unit: None

Actual Value Range: OFF, ON

MML Default Value: None

Recommended Value: OFF(Off)

Parameter Relationship: None

Service Interrupted After Modification: No (And no impact

on the UE in idle mode)

Impact on Radio Network Performance: If this switch is on,

the PA is adjusted. If this switch is off, the PA is not
adjusted.

Applicable Mode: L
PaPcOff PA for even Meaning: Indicates the PA to be used when PA adjustment
power for PDSCH power control is disabled, DL ICIC is disabled,
distribution and the even power distribution is used for the PDSCH.

GUI Value Range: DB_6_P_A(-6 dB), DB_4DOT77_P_A(-

4.77 dB), DB_3_P_A(-3 dB), DB_1DOT77_P_A(-1.77 dB),
DB0_P_A(0 dB), DB1_P_A(1 dB), DB2_P_A(2 dB),
DB3_P_A(3 dB)

Unit: dB

Actual Value Range: DB_6_P_A, DB_4DOT77_P_A,

DB_3_P_A, DB_1DOT77_P_A, DB0_P_A, DB1_P_A,

MML Default Value: None

Recommended Value: Dual-antenna or four-antenna:

DB_3_P_A(-3 dB)

Single-antenna: DB0_P_A(0 dB)

Parameter Relationship: None

Service Interrupted After Modification: No (And no impact

on the UE in idle mode)

Impact on Radio Network Performance: If the RS power is

fixed, setting this parameter to a large value increases the
transmit power and MCS for all UEs in the cell, which results
in power limitation and affects throughput. Setting this
parameter to a small value decreases the transmit power and
MCS for all UEs in the cell but reduces cell throughput.
When you modify the PaPcOff parameter, modify the
following parameters accordingly: Pb, PcfichPwr, PbchPwr,
SchPwr, DbchPwr, PchPwr, RaRspPwr, PrsPwr,
DediDciPwrOffset, PwrOffset, CcuPa, and CeuPa.
