Role: Power BI Consultant

Project 1: Wabtec Global

Built a WABTEC Global lab dashboard with respect to their KPIs, this dashboard
consists of a consolidated view of all the individual lab’s data. We would fetch data from
different labs from share point or a database (SQL), preprocess the data using Python
script then connect the data to Power BI here the visualization of the dashboard was done
as per the client's requirements per their respective KPIs.

Job Responsibilities:

➢ Fetch the data from the SharePoint list and preprocess the data using Python script
then it was published to Power BI workspace.
➢ Gather data from all client’s labs, preprocess it with Python, and store it in AWS.
(RDS SQL Database) before dumping it into Power BI.
➢ Using Power BI, retrieve the relevant lab’s data from RDS (SQL database), and
create an interactive dashboard for that lab we are developing a “Global Lab
Dashboard” which has consolidated view for three labs.
➢ Setting up an On-premises gateway for data refresh every eight hours.
➢ Python script was used to automatically refresh within the scheduled time.
➢ Writing DAX query for Power BI dashboard.
➢ Monitoring the dashboard when new data is fetched and preprocessing the data if there
are any challenges in the data.
➢ Implemented Row Level Security as part of Security.

➢ End to end implementation of establishing Production, UAT and Development

environment.
➢ The client's stakeholders will examine this "Global Lab Dashboard". With the help of
these dashboards’ clients can take further decisions easily in terms of business.
Projects 2: DataCo-Smart-Supply-Chain (from Oct 2019 to March 2020)

The DataCo company dataset customer segmentation analysis was performed in this project which helps
the company to better understand its customers and target them to increase customer responsiveness and
the company's revenue. This data, when used correctly, will be very helpful to the company in discovering
hidden patterns using Python, ML and Power BI for better decision-making in the future.

Roles and Responsibilities:

➢ Check the Data Insight and Analytics developer to design reports and dashboards.
➢ Analyzing the documents and raising a ticket / any for clarifications and to closely work with
customer / designer.
➢ Used Power BI Desktop to create reports, and Power BI Service to create workspace, content
pack, dashboard and to apply row level security.
➢ As part of report creation, used multiple filters, slicers, bookmarks, cards, multiple value display
visuals etc... in Power View.
➢ Created measures, calculated columns, tables where required for modelling and business
operations.
