Topic: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF AD-HOC ON DEMAND AND DYNAMIC SOURCE
ROUTING

AODV and DSR are most widely studied on-demand ad hoc routing protocols.
Previous studies have shown limitations oI these protocols in certain network
scenarios. AODV is modiIied to include the source route accumulation Ieature oI
DSR, this improves its perIormance. This enhancement optimizes AODV to perIorm
eIIectively in term oI routing overhead and delay during high load. The perIormance
oI the protocols is evaluated by a simulation model under a variety oI network
conditions.
