CLIMATE
Te OLIMPO GROUP of companies is located in the North of Chile,
alongside the Limari River Valley. It is privileged with a mediterranean,
sub-tropical and semi-desertic microclimate, a perfect microclimate for
the cultivation of olive plantations. Our trees are irrigated with natural
water fowing down from the melting snows of the Andes Mountains
into the Limari River or otherwise stored in the Cogoti, La Paloma and
Recoleta dams.
HEALTH NOTES
RECENT STUDIES INDICATE THAT OLIVE OIL REDUCES THE RISK OF BREAST CANCER
CONTAINS MONO-INSATURATED FATS:
reduces risks of heart attacks as it reduces the level of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood and maintains or increases the level of good cholesterol (HDL).
OLEIC ACID CONTENT:
facilitates the digestion better than any other fat, invigorating and stimulating the pancreas.

CHArACTErISTICS
Limari Sun is an extra virgin olive oil
with a maximum acidity of 0,3%. It is
produced exclusively from olives grown
by the Olimpo Group and is cold processed
on site within 12 hours from the moment
that the fruit is harvested. The extraction
takes place at 27 to 28 c in all process
stages. The output is an intense green olive
oil with very pleasant fresh herbaceous
aromas.
