I’m going to sum up our presentation with a brief introduction of the Tianmu
Market.
Tianmu Market, located in Taipei, is famous for its diverse and cheap stuff. And it’s
easy to get there because of the convenience traffic system. You can find various
types of fashionable items, handmade crafts and second-handed goods in its narrow
alleys.
Renowned for its lively atmosphere, Tianmu Market reflects Taipei's vibrant
cultural spirit. In addition, the market is known as a culinary haven as well, ranging
from iconic Taiwanese delicacies, such as xiao long bao and stinky tofu, to
international cuisines.
Beyond its role as a marketplace, Tianmu is a thriving community hub. The
interactions between vendors and customers are marked by a genuine friendliness,
creating an hospitalizing atmosphere. Thus, you can enjoy the performance of the
street artists in the market, it’ll be a nice timing to take a little break during
shopping.
For me, I think the most unforgettable scene that day was that many people
brought their suitcases there for shopping. At the beginning, I did not think it is
necessary, moreover, I thought those people were a little bit crazy. However, as we
started to wander around in those narrow alleys, I can totally understand why they
have to bring their suitcases.
