The fire protection system provides the means to detect and/or extin-
guish a fire or a smoke in the following places:
- The Engines
- The APU compartment
- The Toilets
- The Cabin

The fire protection system consists of the following sub-systems:


- Engine Fire Detection
- APU Fire Detection
- Lavatory Smoke Detection
- Engine and APU Fire Extinguishing
- Lavatory Waste Bin Fire Extinguishing
- Portable Fire Extinguishers
