Design Analysis of an Electrical Sliding Gate
1. Aesthetics
The electrical sliding gate features a sleek and modern design that enhances the overall
appearance of the property. The use of high-quality materials and a neutral color scheme
contributes to an aesthetically pleasing look.
2. Functionality
The gate operates smoothly and efficiently, providing reliable and convenient access control.
The electrical sliding mechanism allows for quick and quiet opening and closing, and it can
be easily controlled through a remote or a keypad system.
3. Economics
The initial cost of installing an electrical sliding gate may be relatively higher compared to
traditional gates, but the long-term benefits, such as increased security and convenience,
justify the investment. Additionally, maintenance costs are generally reasonable.
4. Environment
The gate is designed with energy-efficient features, such as a standby mode when not in use.
The materials used are eco-friendly, and the system can be integrated with solar panels for a
more sustainable power source.
5. Ergonomics
The gate is designed with user comfort in mind. The remote control or keypad interface is
user-friendly, and the gate's operation is smooth and does not pose any safety hazards during
regular use.
6. Suitability of Material
The gate is constructed from durable and weather-resistant materials, ensuring longevity and
minimal maintenance. The metal frame is powder-coated to prevent rusting, and the sliding
mechanism is designed to withstand varying weather conditions.
7. Innovation
The gate incorporates smart technology, allowing for integration with home automation
systems. Users can control and monitor the gate remotely using a smartphone app.
Additionally, safety sensors are installed to prevent accidents or damage.
8. Decoration
While the primary focus is on functionality, the gate can be customized with different finishes
and designs to complement the overall aesthetic of the property.
9. Anthropometrics
The gate is designed to accommodate standard vehicle and pedestrian dimensions, ensuring
ease of use for individuals of varying heights and sizes.
10. Selection of Material
The gate is made of sturdy materials such as steel or aluminum, providing durability and
resistance to external forces. The sliding mechanism is equipped with high-quality rollers and
gears for smooth and reliable operation.
11. Recommendation
Consider incorporating additional safety features, such as obstacle detection sensors, to
enhance user safety. Additionally, offering customization options for the gate's appearance,
such as decorative elements or personalized finishes, could cater to diverse customer
preferences.

ACCIDENT REPORT
To: Sir. Lachhu
From: Sanjana Purai
Date: October 24, 2023
I am writing this report to provide a detailed account of an unfortunate incident that
occurred recently within our industrial technology workshop. The incident involved a
fellow class member and resulted in a significant laceration to their left hand.
On Tuesday, October 24th at about 9:35am, while conducting activities in our
industrial technology workshop, a fellow class member Dominic Vincenzo,
encountered a distressing accident. He suffered a laceration in his left hand inside
the workshop while the class was embarking on an advanced building endeavor.
As Dominic was actively engaged in a workshop project, a series of unforeseen
events led to a sudden loss of control over the equipment being used. Despite his
best efforts to maintain stability, the machinery involved exhibited unexpected
behavior. This unfortunate sequence of events resulted in Dominic instinctively
reaching out with his left hand in an attempt to regain control. Tragically, this decision
caused a dangerous contact between his hand and the equipment, ultimately
causing a deep laceration. With the quick reaction of our classmates and our
supervisor Sir. Stephon, Dominic was raced to the school nurse.
All for your information and guidance.
Yours truly,
Sanjana Purai
