Types of water

Salt water and fresh water. Salt water is much more abundant than fresh water, only 3 percent is fresh
water. Salt water is found in oceans, and fresh water is found on land in rivers, lakes, lagoons, polar ice
caps, glaciers, and groundwater.

Biosphere is divided into three zones: Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Lithosphere

The atmosphere is a layer of gas almost 10.000 km thick that covers the entire
surface of the Earth. These gases protect us from extreme cold and heat.

The hydrosphere consists of the Earth’s crust and the upper part of the mantle.

The lithosphere consists of all water on earth: oceans, seas, rivers, lakes,
groundwater, glaciers, and polar ice caps that form clouds and fog.
