 Answer the following questions:

Identify and describe two factors which influence the values people have about health and health behaviours.

Two factors which can influence the values people have about health and health behaviours are your family and culture. Your family can influence these values, as when
your growing up, you are building these initial core values, these values are built off and shaped around your family’s values, as when you are a child you are picking up
on many of your family’s behaviours, this leads to an influence on your values as you are building your own values off your family’s. Culture can also influence your values
due to many different cultures valuing many different things. When you grow up around a certain culture it builds your values.

Discuss how beliefs and values influence our attitude. Provide examples in your answer.

Beliefs and values influence our attitudes as this is the main factor that builds our attitudes. Someone’s beliefs and values will determine how they think, feel and act and
therefore also influencing their attitudes towards certain things. For example someone who may believe alcohol isn’t bad for your health, may also value the substance
and therefore they may have a strong attitude towards drinking alcohol.
