FIRST AID KIT REPORT

INTRODUCTION

The following report is made in order to express the importance of a first aid kit in the
ASOGPADOS institution, taking into account that it is the element that contains the basic
resources to immediately attend to any incident or accident that occurs in the company's
facilities. Before being treated by health personnel, it is necessary to have a complete first
aid kit that can offer us support or medical assistance in an emergency situation. Since first
aid is the immediate care provided to an injured person, well-provided first aid can save a
person's life, until they are taken to a medical assistance center, such as hospitals, IPS or
clinics.
Carrying out the inspection of the first aid kit that the ASOGPADOS association has, it was
observed that it is a little deteriorated and without all the necessary elements for when any
emergency occurs in the asogpados facilities, it is in an inconspicuous place which is not
appropriate for the appropriate position.

RESOLUTION 705 OF 2007 tells us that the Bogotá Council issued Agreement No. 230
of June 29, 2006 “by which the mandatory use of first aid elements in commercial
establishments and shopping centers is established and other provisions are dictated,”
determining the mandatory use of first aid elements in all commercial establishments, for
which they must have a first aid kit, in order to deal with emergencies that arise in their
facilities. In ARTICLE 3 : it says that Commercial Establishments with a surface area of
less than 2,000 square meters may, optionally, have the First Aid Kit type A, which must be
placed in a place duly marked and protected against humidity, light. and extreme
temperatures, therefore, Asogpados does not have 2000 square meters, what must be met
according to the resolution is that we can use the type A first aid kit since there are others.
