Undertaking

1. I have provided the correct water level information in Application form A1. I am aware that,
MEDA / Vendor will not be responsible, if this pump is not running due to incorrect water
level provided by me or the depth of durable water resource is not as mentioned in Form
A1.

2. To become eligible under this scheme, I am willing to pay the beneficiary share for this solar
pump, 10 percent (5 percent for SC / ST beneficiaries) of the cost of the pump. I am aware
that if this amount increases due to any reasons then I will have to make the payment of the
increased amount and I am ready to make the additional amount if any.

3. I will be responsible for the daily maintenance and security of this solar pump. At the site
where I have requested this solar pump, I do not have electricity connection for agricultural
pump. I am aware that, I will be solely responsible for the security of the pump.

4. I am bound to allow access to my farmland for the installation of this solar pump. Also, I will
co-operate with the officers and repair staff from time to time required for the inspection of
this solar pump I will not create any hindrance nor allow any hindrance to happen during
such visit.
5. I undertake that this solar pump will be kept permanently at the installed location i.e. farm /
borewell / well and in survey no. / GAT no. (330) ) till the tenure of 5 years. It will be
mandatory for me to get written permission (No Objection Certificate) from MEDA in future
while moving this solar pump from one place to another. I am giving this undertaking for
the same.

6. I am aware that under any circumstances I am not allowed to transfer, sell, technically
change configuration or repair this installed solar system.

7. In case of theft burglary / any damage to this solar pump system due to natural calamity, I
will file First Information Report to the nearest police station within 15 days of the
occurrence and take the responsibility of reporting the same to MEDA office. I am aware
that if this report is not submitted in given time, I will not be able to get any compensation.

8. The maintenance and repair period of this solar pump is of 5 years. In case if the solar pump
fails within this stipulated period, it is the responsibility of the contractor to repair and
maintain this solar pump without any charges. If this pump fails during the stipulated
period, it is my responsibility to immediately inform on the toll-free number provided.

9. I will not make any changes in the configuration of this solar pump. If this happens, I will be
solely responsible for such damage. If for some technical reason or the solar pump shuts
down or due to faults in the solar pump or for such failure, MEDA will not be responsible for
the resultant loss of agricultural product.

10. The solar energy generated by this solar pump can be utilized by MSEDCL for fulfilling their
Renewable Energy Purchase Obligation (RPO). And I grant permission for the same. All of
the above terms and conditions will be binding on me and my heirs

11. Today (Date- 07-Dec-2023 ), I am giving this undertaking in writing for solar pump.

I have understood the above information/ I have been explained about it and I accept it without
any duress or fear.
