I. Sequence words.
1. Read the paragraph. Then, complete it using sequence words. (5 points).

Here is how to order food in our café! First (1), choose the type of burger. You can choose a lamb,
chicken, or vegetarian burger- They’re all very tasty! Second (2) that, choose chips or salad to go
with your burger, and also choose a cold drink. Third (3) look at the desserts – see our big menu near
the window! We’ve got fifteen different types of ice creams! Fourth (4) speak to one of our

2. Write the recipe of your favorite meal step by step using five sequence words. For example, the

Recipe: Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients:

200g of spaghetti
100g of pancetta or bacon
2 large eggs
50g of Pecorino cheese, grated
50g of Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves of garlic
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:

First, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions
until al dente. While the spaghetti is cooking, prepare the other ingredients.

Second, cut the pancetta or bacon into small pieces. Heat a large pan over medium heat, add the pancetta or
bacon, and cook until it becomes crispy. Add the garlic cloves (crushed but not chopped) to the pan to
infuse the oil with flavor, then remove the garlic and discard it.

Third, in a small bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the grated Pecorino and Parmesan cheese. Add a pinch of
salt and a generous amount of black pepper to the mixture.

Fourth, once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain the spaghetti. Add the
spaghetti to the pan with the pancetta or bacon and toss well to coat the pasta in the rendered fat. Remove
the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly to avoid scrambling the eggs when added.

Fifth, quickly pour the egg and cheese mixture over the pasta, tossing everything together rapidly. If the
sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
The heat from the pasta will cook the eggs gently, creating a creamy sauce. Serve immediately, topped
 with extra grated cheese and fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Carbonara!

professionals who contribute significantly to society in other ways. What's more, the vast wealth associated
with fame can sometimes seem disproportionate to the actual work performed. However, it's important to
acknowledge that celebrities often generate substantial revenue for the entertainment and advertising
industries, which could justify their high salaries. But on the other hand, when comparing their earnings to
those of essential workers like teachers, healthcare professionals, or public servants, it raises questions
about fairness and societal values.
