Student A: Hi my name is Keyla Fernanda Franco Hidalgo and I study systems at ESPOL. I am taking the English III
classes in parallel 2 with Miss Jimena Rivera. And I going to talk about the most special meal I’ve ever made.
The most special meal I’ve ever had in my life was on my best friend birthday last year, the meal was made by my
aunt and I.

The idea was put forward by me. I planned a surprise for him and I prepare one of his favorite food. His favorite food
is lasagna but I didn’t know how to prepare it, so I made chicken with mushroom sauce.

Which were the ingredients and how did it taste?

The ingredients were 2 teaspoons cornstarch, 1/2 cup fat-free milk, 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, 1
tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms, 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced, 1/4
cup sherry or chicken broth, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

It was really delicious because my aunt helped me. She knows how to cook and her

Opinion:
It seems to me a dish with very easy ingredients to get.

How was the food cooked?

It was really easy, first we mixed cornstarch and milk until smooth and we pounded the chicken with a meat mallet
to 1/4 in thickness. Then in a large nonstick skillet we heated up the oil over medium heat and cooked the chicken
there until it was no longer pink, after that, we removed it from the pan.

Opinion: It looks easy to cook; I will try to cook it with my mom next week.

Who with you were in his birthday and where was it?

I was with his friends that are also mine, it was a small meet with them in my house.

When was it?

It was last year on September 9 th. The excuse of the meeting was that I had approved my pre – university and it was
a big surprise for him because he didn’t imagine that.

Student B: Hi, my name is Johnny Franco García and I study civil engineering at Espol. Today I am going to talk about
what I consider the most delicious food.

For me the most delicious food is beef steak with rice and beans.

Where do you eat this meal?

I can enjoy this meal at home once a week thanks to my mom, I usually help my mom make this dish on Thursdays.

Which are the ingredients?

This dish has the following ingredients: rice, beef steak, beans, water, salt, plantain coriander and onions.

This dish was cooked following this order:

First, you must put the rice to cook in a pot, second, in another pot the beans must be cooked, chop the banana,
lastly, mix the banana with the beans and let it cook for an hour.

What do you think of the final result?

This dish tastes and smells great and looks nice, guys have to try this dish.

Student C: Hello my name is Daniel Galvez, I am 19 years old, I am a student of Espol, I study mechatronic
engineering at the FIMCP faculty. I'm going to talk about a meal I will never forget.

When I am asked about a meal that I will never forget, one of the best memories I have comes to my mind. And it is
the Pastel Sacher, a year ago my grandparents were 50 years married, yes 50 years of being together. This was the
dessert that closed the banquet and the one that I liked the most in the entire celebration, is a chocolate cake, which
contains two thick plates of chocolate and butter cake separated by a thin layer of jam. Despite not being a typical
dessert from Ecuador, my grandmother told me that she prepared it for my grandfather many years ago and it is
very representative of them, so I cannot forget it.

Opinion: I think it's a nice story and I love chocolate, I hope I can try the sacher cake someday.
