1. What is the movie all about?
The movie entitled TRUST is all about a 14 year old lady named Annie. The story started
when she celebrates her birth day with her Iamily, her dad gave her a laptop and she
thrilled it. She met Charlie in an online chat, they exchanging text messages and chatting
Ior almost 3 months. When they decided to meet at the mall, she was disappointed
because Charlie lied about his age, but then pleased when he praised Annie and told that
their age diIIerences doesn`t matter. At the hotel, Charlie gave her a lingerie bra and
under wear as a present, Annie Iitted it, he coaxes Annie on to bed and rapes her and
secretly Iilming it. Annie told it to her best Iriend about their intercourse, Brittany was
concerned to her Iriend so she told it to the school counselor, and reported it to the police.
The FBI made an investigation about it, her Iamily and the FBI Iorcing Annie to contacts
with Charlie beIore they track the location oI Charlie, he break his communication with
Annie. Their problem becomes worst about the case, when Annie saw the pictures oI
young girls that is also raped by Charlie, she Iinally admit to the hospital counselor that
she was raped. At the school, Brittany apologizes about the 'internet thing leaving her
best Iriend, she was very conIused when she go at the library and online seeing other
people making Iun oI her, and posted her image oI her head pasted onto pornographic
picture. When come home, she attempted to suicide by overdosing herselI with a pills,
but her dad save her.
2. How you describe the attitude or behavior of the lead characters?
Annie- she is the main character in the movie wherein she has a lack oI conIidence with
herselI, she can easily give her trust to people around her and become desperate when she
met Chalie.

3. Relate one theory that is applicable.
I used the theory oI Freud`s psychosexual theory which involves the genital stage where
in there is a reawakening oI secondary characteristics. The adolescents establish
relationships with their oppositee sex and Iinds gratiIying work. As in the scene, Annie
wants to have relationship to her opposite sex like others that she has seen around her.
When she meets Charlie, even he lied to her, she ignored these concerns just not to end
their relationship, not wondering what will happen next. AIter the day she was raped by
Charlie, and her Iamily knows it, she always trying to keep their relationship and she
keep on believing that the guy loves her, she keeps on blaming her parents why Charlie
leave her.
Also according to the theory, they also become more responsible Ior what they have
decided Ior themselves. As Annie did, aIter all the instances that she encountered, she
was able to cope with it, she still stand strong in solving her problems.
