From 1 January, any 10 gift voucher benefit will be updated to a complimentary main and drink coded gift voucher. This means, depending on what you order, you can receive even greater value from your membership for example, a Romana Etna and a 175ml glass of Primitivo, Puglia is approx. 17.00. You will still be able to save up the coded vouchers and use more than one at a time for example, if two people are dining you can use two vouchers. All you need to do is give your waiter the coded gift voucher. Please note, you will not be able to use these coded vouchers in conjunction with any other non-club member offers or discounts. Inside the restaurant the artwork is a play on the word Lakeside with a mural of the side of a lake by Graeme Crowley which starts as a paint by numbers and ends as a photograph. Look closely if you visit and youll also spot that the toilet sign figures both carry fishing rods the lake outside is popular with local anglers.

In addition to the Angel of the North, we celebrate The Baltic, The Trinity Square Car Park, (since demolished but famous for the scene in Get Carter, The Sage, The Millennium Bridge and The Tyne Bridge. As a complete contrast, the first floor of the restaurant has seven Goatshead prints by famous local artist Topsy Quret.

RECiPE:

iNSalaTa di POllO e PESTO al BaSiliCO

for 2 people iNGrEdiENTs
400g free range chicken breast (butterfly) 120g PizzaExpress green pesto 1 potato (julienne) 1 large carrot (julienne) 1 courgette ( julienne) 10/15 santos tomatoes (cut in half) Salt & pepper 1 Basil leaf 10ml extra virgin olive oil

mEThOd
1. Pan fry the chicken breast in oil until golden brown. Once cooked, roughly slice it up and set aside. 2. Cook the julienne style vegetables in salted boiling water for around 2 minutes. Once cooked drain them and leave them to cool. 3. In a mixing bowl add the cut santos tomatoes, the cooked chicken and the vegetables. 4. Add the green pesto, salt and pepper and mix. 5. Put the mixture into a fridge for around 1 hour. 6. Transfer the salad into a large salad bowl garnished with the basil leaf on top. Goes well with a couple of slices of rustic Italian bread.

Sheffield, South Yorkshire is known for its industrial steel heritage, so when we opened our fourth restaurant there, we took this as inspiration for the theme. Bold artwork inspired by steel making dons the walls, and the restaurant has lots of tables for two alongside booth seating for party groups as well as the traditional PizzaExpress open kitchen.

BROmlEy

Science inspires art in our new restaurant, located where Charles Darwin lived and worked for most of his adult life, Bromley. All the artwork in this restaurant celebrates Darwin and the work that he did which transformed the way that we think about the Natural World.

CrOYdON, GEOrGE sTrEET

This brand new restaurant on George Street in Croydon opened in December 2011. Inspired by the electrical engineer and inventor of the teleprinter, Frederick George Creed

(18711957) - who lived and died in the area - the artwork in this restaurant is derived from the iconic paper tape used to punch holes in by the teleprinter.
