High Wet Strength - Performance Enhancer
Hydratite EK62 is the newest addition to our line of high wet strength
product. This unique blend of specialty designed resins, designed to
increase corrugators performance and give a high level of water
resistance. It will increase speed on difficult to bond substrate.

Usage rate
Stopping bacteria
▪ EK 62 Clear is excellent for stopping bacteria from destroying the
glue over 1 to 3 day storage.
▪ Weekend storage 3 to 5 Kg’s per 1,000 Kg’s of glue.
For high speed bonding
▪ EK 62 Clear is increase speed on difficult to bond substrate
▪ Add 5 to 10 Kg’s per 1,000 Kg batch.
For high water resistance
▪ Add 15 to 25 Kg’s per 1,000 Kg’s.

One or Two Tank system.
Cooked part (Carrier)
▪ Water 28 kgs
▪ Tapioca starch 26 – 31 kgs
▪ 98% Caustic 4–5 kgs
▪ Water for caustic 8 - 10 kgs
▪ Mix for 10 – 15 minutes
▪ Transfer to the main tank over 10 to 15 minutes.
Uncooked part (Main)
▪ Water 450 kgs
▪ Tapioca starch 180 – 230 kgs
▪ Borax (10 Mole) 2 - 3 kgs
▪ Hydratite EK 62 5 – 10 kgs
▪ Mix for 5 - 10 minutes
