Good morning to teachers, judges and friends. I am Afiqah bt. Mohd Aizul.

I am representing my class, 6k, in this public speaking. Today I am going to tell you about The Thing That I hated makes me loved it the most. How do you feel when at first you hated this particular thing the most but then after sometime you started to love it? The same thing happen to me. Six years ago, I was given two choices where I have to strictly choose whats best for me. My mother had offered to keep a pet or go for piano class. I was confused at that time. I just keep thinking. Than I made a strong decision at the age of 6 where choose I to go for piano class. At that time, Ive seen people playing piano. I thought it was as easy as ABC......hmm, but then everything was not as easy as I thought. Things went upside down. On my first class, I just followed the class as how it should be as planned by my mom. That time, I felt it was very easy to play but the first class didnt show much improvement. The routine continue until the second, third and the fourth class. I found it was very difficult as I went through the classes. I started to hate it. The teacher always scolded because Im bad in playing and reading the notes. One day, my teacher told me something which I as well as all of you would hate to hear. Guest what? It is an examination. According to my teacher my teacher, I have to sit for the exam to go to the next grade.

How nice it would be if I just jump to the next grade without any exam but...... its too late. I would have to go through the exam. Now I realised why my teacher scolded me during my revision time. She wanted me to pass and guess what....I did pass the exam. After four months, my teacher taught me a new song which was composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. I was excited because he is my favourite composer. I didnt expect this. Before I started to learn it, my teacher played it. The title of the song is Fur Elise. It is a wonderful song. The lessons that my teacher taught me previously included this song and now I would perform it on stage. I felt so proud when the audience gave me a loud applause each time I performed. Now, can you see clearly? Learning piano is the thing I hated at first and now I loved it a lot. Thank Q
