Material Surface Analysis for Robotics

This document is a progress report submitted by a student named Hairizan Bin Adam for his master's project. [1] The project aims to analyze different materials (paper, fabric, wood) for suitability as robot labeling surfaces. [2] Initial analyses using microscopy software found fabric (98.75) to be better than paper (83.75) and wood (86.5). [3] Further tamura analysis of microscopy photos found fabric (3.020605) to be better than paper (2.348648) and wood (2.927217), proving fabric is best.

Project outline

Produce the material that can perform better for the robot patch. 3 material was selected : (paper, fabric and wood) Analysis the material surface practically (mirosot and Tamura analysis)

iii.

Data collection (Please provide information on the steps taken and/or your plan for getting data).

Using mirosot software : paper (83.75), wood (86.5), fabric (98.75) Using tamura analysis (photo taken by using SEM) : paper (2.348648), wood (2.927217), fabric (3.020605) PROVE THAT : FABRIC BETTER THAN OTHERS.
iv.

Data analysis ( Indicate your plan or actions that had been taken to analyse the data).
