A long time ago, there lived a boy named Flint Lockwood that has always wanted to invent something awesome; however, every one of his inventions fell into disaster, such as the Remote Control Television, Hair Un-Balder, The Flying Car, Rat-bird hybrids, and his Spray-On Shoes. once upon a time, flint want to tell her friend about the new SprayOn Shoes he has made. Flint say that the shoe laces would be easy to lose. Then he sprayed Spray-On Shoes to his feet. They silence. But then they laughed at him because of the flint shoes cannot make off of his feet. Flint sad. But he did not despair to find other inventions. He grew up misunderstood by his father, Tim and but, his mother, Fran, always believed he could succeed, however she passed away, leaving Flint with his father. Flint lives in Swallow Falls, a town located on an island under the A in Atlantic. Since the Baby Brent Sardine cannery closed down, the economy fell and left Swallow Falls with sardines as their one and only source of food. Flint, along with the assistance of his pet monkey, Steve, who speaks through a thought translator, invents a machine that uses microwave radiation to mutate water into food. The machine requires a lot of electricity to work, so Flint sneaks out of his fathers fishing tackle shop while he is watching Mayor Shelbourne and "Baby" Brent McHale unveiling a new tourist attraction, Sardine Land. Flint goes to the power plant and hooks up the machine. The machine absorbs millions of megawatts of electricity and ends up rocketing through town and shooting up into the stratosphere, destroying Sardine Land. While sulking at the docks over his failure, he meets Samantha Sparks, a weather intern for the Weather News Network in New York whose big break was foiled by Flints actions while reporting the events about Sardine Land. The two witness purple clouds floating over the town those rain cheeseburgers, much to everyones surprise and joy. After that, Flint creates communication devices to send commands to a machine resting in the stratosphere. He began working for the Mayor Shelbourne, and Sam Swallow Falls broadcasts will attract tourists such findings. All went well, but the result of all that, more and more people (including Mayor) to request food lab. Who ordered more food will require more cloud machine to gather and make food. Flint notice that the food began to rain in large numbers, but the mayor sees it as better results, and Flint was forced to agree. He ordered spaghetti and meatballs for a grand reopening ceremony. Residents and tourists next day Chewandswallow and worldly crowd cheered at Flint who cut the ribbon. Suddenly, large destructive tornado formed spaghetti threaten the city. Flint rushed to the lab to turn the engine off, but found the mayor ordered-Vegas-style all-you-can-eat buffet. Flint tries to send the 'code kill' to stop the machine, but the Mayor tried to kill Flint by throwing turnips at her, but destroy the communication device. A massive food storm threatens the world and Flint lose hope. However, his father encouraged him to fix the mess and hand him the lab coat that he lost in the last disaster.

Flint trust gains and put the code to kill the USB flash drive and create Flying Car 2. Flint, Sam, his cameraman, Manny, and Brent set out to save the world while remaining residents and tourists work together to escape Chewandswallow. Entering the stratosphere, they found that the machine is the only core of a giant meatball and realize that it is the heroes so send food to live to attack them. In the chaos, Flint lose the kill. Flint calls his father who ordered him to enter the lab and send the code to kill his mobile phone. Flint, Sam, and Brent enter the meatballs but Flint was forced to bring to the solo machines since Brent must fight alive grilled chicken and Sam facing an allergic reaction to peanut brittle. Meanwhile in Chewandswallow, arrogant mayor escaped, and while residents and tourists fleeing on a boat made of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Mt. Time to collapse and destroy the entire city. Avalanche covers Flint Lab with Tim Flint is still trying to send a kill code. But he survived and he managed to click send. Flint engine meeting and jamming the phone to the USB port. However, the team had sent the wrong document, but still Flint his victory when he spray Spray-On Shoe formula in food extraction hole, destroying it. Sam and Brent meatball escaped before it exploded. They returned to Chewandswallow. Flint return to live safely and was taken by his Rat birds. Flint survived. Tim was immediately embraced his daughter. Then flint saw sam and they embrace each other and implementing their kiss was delayed.
