9. A restaurant launch a VIP card promotion, details are as follows:

There are three types of membership with different fee and different discount
offered to the customer. Once a customer joined the membership and paid the
annual membership fee we can get a discount for the meal in the restaurant.
a. Mike would like to join the silver membership and he has ordered a $300 set
dinner plus a 10% service charge. Totally, how much did he need to pay for
both membership fee and the meal?

b. Mike received a $50 cash coupon after joining the membership but the coupon
cannot be used with other discount. The next day Mike went to the restaurant
and enjoyed a $500 dinner set plus a 10% service charge. Explain whether he

c. Find the original price of a set dinner if a platinum member pays the meal for
$ 704 which included the 10% service charge.
