1 Preparation work before upgrading
Before doing the MINI-LINK CN software upgrading, please finish the
following preparation work：
1 A Laptop or PC which the software of MINI-LINK Craft has been installed
2 One Mini USB Cable（Product Number: RPM517 510/01），On side
connected to the O&M port of CN，the other port is connected to the USB
port of the PC laptop.
3 MINI-LINK CN should be already powered on with -48V DC voltage and
the power cable should be installed correctly.
4 The software should be already obtained，for example: CXP9020705_1-
[Link]。
2 Procedures of Upgrading
1 Un zip the package of the CN software（for example：CXP9020705_1-
[Link]）to the following directory，
C:\tn_ftp_home\tn_system_release\ml_tn_software，after unzip the folder
should be as the following picture shows：
2 Connect CN from O&M port with USB cable，open and login in MINI-
LINK Craft，type the User: control_user，password is : ericsson。

3 Open FTP SERVER
4 Use the default parameters as the following picture shows，press the
Start button ，start FTP SERVER.
5 Right click on the CN-192-168-0-1 as the below picture shows，open FTP
MANAGER，test the ftp server.

6 According to the IP already set up in the FTP SERVER，after changing
the information of port and login in information Press start, check the
result whether the result is OK.
7 Right click on CN-192-168-0-1 open the SOFTWARE UPDRADE Option
on the list to start the upgrading

8 Choose the right software as below picture shows
9 Press next button and set the parameters as the below picture shows

10 Double check, and press Finish button to start upgrading
11 System will execute upgrading automatic wait for a while

12 The update information of upgrading dowanding progress will be shownas
the picture, during the whole phase of the software upgrading
13 After software downloading finish at 100%, press Close button

14 After closing the upgrading guideline, will enter into the activation page.
Press “ACTIVE UPGRADE”, then Press Save on the left top of the page,
to start software upgrading activation progress
15 MINILINK-CN will restart automatic, after a while, craft will reconnect with
the equipment

16 Double check whether the new software activation is successful or not,
choose “YES, active…”, then press SAVE
3 Checking after upgrading
1 After upgrading is finished, right click on CN-192-168-0-1, enter the page
of Inventory
2 Check the red zone as the below picture shows, check whether have
been upgraded to the target inventory. If yes, upgrading is successful
