In todays increasingly com-

important than ever to make
the right decisions for your
child as early as possible. At
Llandovery College, pupils are
encouraged to be the very best
they can be in small classrooms
and in an environment where
every child is valued.
From the very first day, our
boarding and day pupils
embark upon a journey where
values, respect, intellectual
curiosity, emotional maturity
and interpersonal skills are
seen to be every bit as impor-
tant as the primary aim of aca-
demic excellence.
Llandovery College has a
strong academic record with a
100% GCSE pass rate in 2011.
Our 2011 A level results were
the best on record with 60 per
cent of students achieving A*-B
grades.

vided with a Samsung netbook,

The Centres Welsh for Adults stu-
dent of the year, Jac Forster, seen
here with her husband Marc and
their two sons, who all speak Welsh,
is certainly a shining example to all
those learning Welsh. Jac, who was
born in London, has worked very
hard over the past four years to learn
Welsh in order to establish Welsh as
the language of the home. If you see
Jac, and you speak Welsh, cofiwch
siarad hi yn Gymraeg (remember to
speak to her in Welsh).
