This is just a summary of the Policy. You will find the full terms, conditions and exclusions in the Full Protection Insurance Policy Document.

What is this type of insurance?


Full Protection Insurance is designed to refund a range of charges, including damage costs, that you pay under your rental agreement with
the car rental company, should there be an Incident involving your rental vehicle.

What is insured? What is not insured?


We will pay up to £20,000 in total for charges for which you are 7 We will not pay more than £20,000 in total for all claims under

Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office or a local
Government/Regulatory body has advised against all or all but
essential travel (except where such advice has been issued due
to a medical epidemic or pandemic within the country or area
being visited).
7 You renting a vehicle without insurance covering loss of or
damage to the vehicle (such insurance may have an excess and
excluded items which may be covered under this policy).
7 Pre-existing defects or damage or damage covered by your car
rental agreement.

Are there any restrictions on cover?


! You must be a resident of the UK to be covered under this policy.
! The following vehicles are not covered by the policy:
motorhomes, campervans, commercial vehicles, motorcycles
or mopeds.
Where am I covered?
3 Anywhere that the Rental Company allows you to drive the Rental Vehicle.

What are my obligations?


a) The Insurer must have received (and still have) the full premium amount.
b) You must have a valid Car Rental Agreement, and comply with all the terms and conditions of your policy.
c) If you make a claim, you must:
i) Notify us within 3 months of being charged (or held liable by) the Car Rental Company for loss of or damage to the Rental Vehicle
and additional charges as specified in this policy.
ii) Provide evidence to support your claim (e.g. proof of payment).

When and how do I pay?


You will pay a single insurance premium, which will be taken from the payment card you used to make your booking:
a) If you pay for your rental at the time of booking, the premium will usually be taken as part of the payment for the rental itself.
b) If you pay for your rental later, the premium will be taken one month before your rental is due to start.
c) If you add this insurance after booking your vehicle, the premium will be taken when you add insurance.

When does the cover start and end?


You will find your cover start and end dates on your certificate of insurance.
Your policy will continue for up to 48 hours at no additional charge if you extend the Car Rental Agreement with the approval of the Car
Rental Company, or if you are unable to return the Rental Vehicle to the Car Rental Company at the end of the Car Rental Agreement due
to the injury or illness of you or your travel companion, or due to a change of itinerary for any reason beyond your control that is not
otherwise excluded under this policy.

How do I cancel the contract?


a) Before the start of Your Car Rental Agreement, you can cancel the policy (and receive a full refund) at any time.
b) After the start of Your Car Rental Agreement, you can only cancel the policy (and receive a partial refund) within 14 days of paying the
premium.
