1)Standard Lab Equipment:
1}Multi-Meter :- A multimeter, also called a volt- ohmmilliammeter (VOM) or volt-ohmmeter, measures voltage, resistance, and current,
serving as a voltmeter, ohmmeter, and ammeter.
2} Power Supply :- A power supply is an electrical device that converts electric current from a source into the correct voltage, frequency, and
format to power an electrical load or component. It is also referred to as an electric power converter.
3}Function Generator :- A function generator is an electronic device that generates and delivers repetitive waveforms, such as
sine and square waves, across a wide range of frequencies to a device under test.
4}Tachometer :- A tachometer, also known as a revolution counter or RPM gauge, measures the rotational speed of a shaft or
disk. Its name derives from the Greek root "tach-" meaning "speed" .
5} Clamp-on Meter :- A clamp meter, also known as a clamp-on meter or tong tester, is a tool shaped like a clothespin that
can be clamped around a live wire to measure its current, voltage, resistance, and sometimes frequency.
STANDARD MEASURING INSTRUMENTS:
1}True RMS Multi-meter :- A true-RMS meter accurately measures both imperfect, nonsinusoidal waves and perfect
sinusoidal waves. "RMS" stands for rootmean-square, a calculation used to find the equivalent DC value of an AC waveform.
2} Lux Meter :- A lux meter, also known as a light meter, measures the intensity of light as perceived by the human eye. It uses a
photo cell to capture light, which is then converted into an electrical current.
3} Megger :- A megger, also called an insulation resistance tester or megohmmeter, is a portable device that measures insulation
resistance through electromagnetic induction.
SPECIAL LAB EQUIPMENT:
Power Analyser :- A power analyzer is a versatile instrument that measures and analyzes the electrical power flow in a system. It
assesses both DC and AC systems, providing insights into electrical consumption. Key parameters it measures include voltage,
current, power factor, energy usage over time, active power (watts), reactive power (VAR), and apparent power (VA).
